Raised by her mother, a dedicated substitute teacher and administrative assistant, and her late father, a barber for over 40 years, Kesha was instilled with strong values of hard work, empathy, and perseverance.
An honors graduate of the University of Houston and Texas Southern University’s Thurgood Marshall School of Law, Kesha’s journey to becoming an attorney was anything but conventional. Before law school, she dedicated over 30 years to public service, holding roles with the Houston Police Department, the U.S. Postal Service, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Harris County Attorney's Office, and the State of Texas as an Investigator for Children's Protective Services. Her extensive experience in public service fueled her desire to make an even greater impact, leading her to establish The Law Office of Kesha L. Amos, PLLC. While her firm is a private practice, Kesha’s mission remains the same—to serve and advocate for those in need with excellence, integrity, and compassion.
Kesha and her husband share a beautiful blended family of five children and one grandchild. While she cherishes time with her family, she also values moments of solitude and spiritual reflection. Through the trials and triumphs of life—navigating loss, personal transitions, and professional challenges—Kesha has remained steadfast in her faith, emerging stronger and more determined than ever. She continues to walk boldly in her purpose, ensuring that her kindness is never mistaken for weakness and that her boundaries remain firm.
Kesha stands as a testament to the power of perseverance, faith, and self-determination, proving that no dream is out of reach with resilience and belief in God's plan.
